Neither one is worth his contract but at least Norris tries on effort level and he’s coming back from a longterm injury so he might need a full year to get back on track and get the mental aspect of it back.

As much as I would love for it to happen as a Kings fan, it won't. Blake's job is dependent on the success of PLD. As soon as he's considered a unredeemable failure (i.e. bought out, traded, waived, etc.), Blake will be fired, if he hasn't been already.

So unless Blake is fired at the end of the season and a new GM is brought in and decides to pull the trigger on something like this before PLD's NMC kicks in on July 1, the Kings are stuck with Dubois for the next 4-5 years.
