I don't see Yzerman doing this at the TDL scoring isn't the problem if they even make the playoffs. In the offseason there might be a deal to make. But would't Buchnevich more expensive?

I see where he's going with the value, and it's not bad or anything - the Mazur ask could turn out to be sneaky shrewd (and he buzzes around like a Blues style middle 6er). But yeah, it's not exactly what I'd ask for. I mean, what's the view on Wallinder in Detroit? Like maybe he can be a strong #4, a complimentary 2nd pairing guy? I dunno, I'd want a better young Dman piece as the primary. But like I said, it's not what I'd aim for, especially with the retention on there.
