Description

Not a fan of either team but both Mittelstadt and Byram have been mentioned in trade talks, wonder if a direct swap would benefit either side. Colorado need a 2C and Mittelstadt definetly could be that guy for them, while Byram is a young defenseman with tons of potential, but a scary injury history which hasn't helped him at all, and unless Toews leaves or they move Girard/Manson (which I don't see happening) then he's not got a spot in Colorado's top 4

Except it’s NOT a solution bc there is ZERO CHANCE that it happens

1- Sabres aren’t trading Mitts

2- Byram is a LEFTY- we need a RIGHTY

3- Mitts won’t even fit under the Avs Cap moving forward w his new contract anyways

This trade idea has been shot down on this site LITERALLY about 50xs (AT LEAST)

Sorry to be harsh, but the trade works for NEITHER SIDE and is just absurd

Obviously MANY don’t see that for some reason, even though much of it (like Mitts for Byram) can’t reasonably happen
