Description

I have gone down these roads before, but I think it works nicely when you put it all together.

I really like the Frost/Evans addition combo. Depth down the middle is no longer a concern. Frost may or may not be able to handle 2C at the level the team wants/needs, but he's an immediate improvement and hopefully a good long term piece as well. Meanwhile, Evans is a major upgrade at 4C. Do I wish he made a bit less money? Sure. But 3.8 total for the pair is very reasonable.

Kahkonen is my favorite target for backup goalie, as you can see from my ACGM history. I think the price is in the neighborhood with no retention, but we have yet to see what the goalie market is going to be like so who knows.

All of a sudden the forward group is deep. Not even sure who to scratch if everyone is healthy. And if Landy actually returns, they becomes an even tougher "problem" that I would absolutely love to have.

I imagine they'd want more; he's young and cost-controlled so he has a lot of value and the Flyers don't need to trade him which means they'd ask for quite a bit. Still not sure he's a 2C, though.

Well, that means Drouin is gone next year as they only have $9M to sign about 5 more players and leave space for call-ups. Also means you have all three of Frost, Mikko and Bo up for new deals starting this July; how do you plan on managing that?
