You're not dumping Campbell for a single 1st rounder THREE drafts away.

Just not realistic. And while his buyout isn;t huge, the length is. Hes probably never being a NHL player anymore, so a team loses 3.8mil or they lose 1.5mil avg over 5-6 yrs off the cap (and their bottom line).

EDM isn;t flush with great prospects, but Campbell dumping will cost a 1st and a EDM top prospect and having that 1st being THREE drafts away probably elevates the prospect to your best of their choosing

Add Holloway and Bourgault/Broberg/Akey so Flyers might actually think about it. Or just Holloway, -26 first and take back Petersen. Buyout him at summer and the cost will be just 1M next season and 2M the season after.
