I’m intrigued for CBJ; though, frankly the bigger get for us is clearing the roster spot, rather than replacing Laine.

Tried to match value in the Chris Tanev to Dallas trade. Goal was 3rd round pick elevates to 2nd if Dumo plays 60+ games or something like that but CAR doesn’t have a 3rd in 2025.

It was traded for Kuznetsov. Maybe a draft trade involving the 3rd straight up

RF has never traded a first round pick as GM (Canes and Kraken). I'm not sure that's the deal to get him to trade one now.
