That Vegas trade is something MTL should avoid. Dvorak can't be traded at this point and isn't worth using our last retention spot on, just let him fade away next off season.

Those type of moves are when the team will be competitive
MTL are not, so just keep Dvorak as the 3C and let him fade away like Subbanator said. Keep Evans as our 4C, good guy in the room and decent 4th liner

habs are going to be looking to add a big offensive piece on their next trade i think, fixing your bottom 6 center situation shouldnt really be a priority right now, not to mention they may already have their future 3rd line center in Beck who should be up in the next year or two.
