I think NJ considers that pretty seriously - and is probably the first Mercer deal I've seen on here that makes sense for NJ.

If you're taking two bad contracts back, I think you could also get a 1st rounder in that Rust trade

Broberg is 2yrs younger and worth more than POJ, not a ton but something like a 3rd IMO

Dallas trade just won't happen, Suter full No Move and Letang full No Move until 2026

NJD trade also a long shot, Palat has a 10 team list, doubt he'll have retool\rebuild Pens on it, also Mercer is more valuable than Pettersson and the 2nd. I honestly think Jarry is just decent and wouldn't want him on my team if I was NJ
