Makes no sense for the Canes. They go out of their way to get KK, so they wont trade him back for nothing. Also the Canes could just buy him out for that same price if he doesn't pan out

Canes pass. There's no incentive. Kotkaniemi's having a tough year, but has had extreme success in Carolina. They're not going to give up on him unless you pay through the nose. Negative value Armia and waiver claim Kovacevic ain't it

Marchessault is staying in Vegas.

Outside the Montreal 1st there's no value for Anaheim to move Zegras for Dvorak and Mailoux.

Carolina isn't trading KK for Armia and a nobody piece.

Why wouldn't the Canes just buy him out if they want instead of taking a worse player who isn't even making that much less
