Don't see Preds doing that trade for one year of Chychrun.
Five years for 31 year old DeMelo seems iffy.
Storlatz....is a New Jersey boy. Seems like there is spot for him as a Devil.

One thing the Preds have that the Sens don't: the cap space to extend Chychurn. I could see Trotz pulling the trigger on that if the extension was in place. I think he rolls the dice if it wasn't.

Aside from that, I don't think Dallas would have any interest in Brännström. He would almost be their #7 D..... and a pricey one for that roll. Could see that being a flip for a soon to be NHL player, or a Lassi Thompson, who would be close to league minimum in that role. Still, the way Dallas is stacked up, I don't see them willing to move Delandrea......

I'm not opposed to the NSH, but I doubt it actually happens. Not because of value or anything, because I think the value is pretty fair, it's more how Chychrun plays, being more offensively minded. NSH already has a lot of offensively minded defenseman both now and upcoming and the team needs more defensively minded defenseman, as the departure of Ekholm over the course of this year has shown.

That said, with Ufko having just signed his ELC nd his coach stating during NCAA broadcast of the NCAA tournament "he's the best player they've had since Cale Makar..." I think having a right side of Chychrun + Ufko in the top 4 could be really strong, especially with Molendyk coming up as well. NSH would need work on their defensive game to make it work.
