      Hawks easily decline. Too much term left on Rakell's deal. Takes way more than two mid round picks to dump that.

      Four more years of a 30 year old, 1/2 point per game forward costs more than two mid round draft picks two or three drafts in the future to move.

      Puckpedia’s cap relief calculator estimates the cost to move Rakell’s remaining contract at the 10th pick of the 1st round.

      Columbus declines, we'd rather chance a Laine bounceback than sell low with what would amount to a few early-to-mid round draft picks.

      That’s insane. He’s definitely not a problem and I’d rather keep him any day than pay a 1st.
