If the Kings dump Lizotte, it's because they can't afford him. They're not going to take back a more expensive player in Sonny Milano.

I could see a Lizotte for Lindgren trade happening if Talbot and/or Rittich want too much money on an extension, but the Kings aren't adding a draft pick.

ive never really seen other teams show as high of value interest for lizotte as the kings fans on this site, so if he is priced out, i dont really see teams paying that much for him. I can understand not wanting milano back here, but I really cant see a team paying more than a 4th/5th for his rights. I sorta see him being unqualified if he isnt moved in a deal like this. Just speculating.

I like Milano as a player and his cap hit is not awful but I think the Kings would like to sign Lizotte for a bit less after the season. Also, Lizotte established himself at the Kings and I see both parties finding an agreement rather than part ways.

I'd be very happy with that return for Mangiapane. I think he'll bring back a 2nd with retention.

He's a very good player 5 on 5, but could use a change of scenery.
