So essentially a lateral move between Elvis and Soup and then another lateral move between Broberg and Boqvist.

But we are paying an extra 1st round pick because??

Honestly goal was something like 2025 2nd becomes 1st if Merzlikins plays in X amount of games but couldn’t make it work with picks EDM still has. Merzlikins and Boqvist are at least NHL regulars.

Elvis and Campbell are both overpaid, but both will absolutely benefit from a change of scenery (hopefully I like Elvis) The difference between them isn't a first

Also in relation to your comment about how Bovqist and Elvis are NHL regulars, the key difference between both teams is one has Stanley Cup expectations while the other was a team not even expected to make the playoffs.

Elvis >= Campbell
Bovqist>Broberg

At most it'll be a 3rd

You Edm fans really don’t understand what is going to happen. Draisaitl is going to be moved. Edm simply doesn’t have the cap space to keep McDavid and him long term. They really can’t move RNH and they are going to move Hyman. The depth on this team is atrocious and that is the reason they get exposed every year in the playoffs. Edm doesn’t have a long term goalie. Draisaitl will be moved. He is the only one with enough value to help address these areas.

The Elvis-Soup swap has been proposed a bunch, but it just doesn't work with Edmonton's cap. A buyout and then riding with Skinner and a league-min goalie (or just above) is really the only option, you're getting about the same goaltending and saving at least $2M in cap space without giving up any assets.

That's selling too low on Laine, so Columbus just keeps him. You gave Chinakhov and Nylander too much, and there's no reason to sign Kahkonen when Tarasov and Greaves are both better already.
