Defence and Goaltending much improved IMO
forwards will be slightly worse with no bertuzzi, banking on improvements from holmberg, Knies, Robertson or even Cowan or mitten stepping in. However, defence is currently a much bigger need and the leafs forward core doesn't really need any major switchups

Hawks pass. We probably look for a more stable veteran RD to play with Korch or one of Del Mastro/Kaiser next season.

Matt Roy gets more, His wife just gave birth to their first child, And they want to be close to their parents in the Metro Detroit Area. So zero chance of Roy signing in Canada he doesn't want to play there.
