Easier pass for the Habs, at least Anderson is an NHL player even at his current cap hit, and at half the cap he easily gets a positive return which Acciari does not.

Habs would be paying 4.7 million on the cap to just have a worse player. They're better to just keep Anderson, get him to his last year, retain 50% and take what you get
