        I think the Bruins are doing a good job of quietly getting younger and letting old guys retire. They don't really need to trade to get older or better right away. The above lineup doesn't suddenly strike fear into the hearts of Tampa or Toronto. It has one or two percent better odds of holding onto third place in the division ahead of Florida, and then still fizzling out in the first round. That's not the kind of deal you give up a good prospect over.

        8 positions being staffed by guys that might not be good enough and a couple more filled with low level fill ins.. looks like a huge disaster to me

        I don't particularly think panarin would resign so I think your idea is a non starter... but even if he was willing to sign your offer, I don't like it. and it really screws the team
