So just the current players then? I know Lupul ended poorly but he played well when we got him in the gards trade (and I think he was a cap dump in the same way Tatar is for the Habs). Don't know how well Beauchemin did after, never followed up.

But yeah when Burks draft pick trades are added in it just looks awful.

On Manson, he was a late round steal, so I don't really fault the leafs on that one. Odds are they don't take him with the pick. Maybe I have tinted glasses but I see the history that we should be accountable for as:

To tor:
Gards
Andersen
Lupul (before the extension and the shenanigans around that)
Biggs

To anh:
Beauchemin
Comtois
Steel
Rakell
Gibson
Bernier

Take out the Gibson and rakell for Biggs 'deal' and you can see why these teams have traded so much.

Worse Leaf/Ducks (kinda) deal, was when the Leafs hired previously fired Ducks GM Brian The Brain Burke. Between Burke and his stooge Nonis, it put the Leaf into the purgatory for about 10 years. Hard to believe a a non budget team like the Leafs couldn't find better GMs that Burke, Nonis and their predecessor Ferguson.
