The Pens would like to obtain Tyler Bozak.Toronto doesn't want to trade him to the Penguins because they are the Leafs number 1 threat. It might take a deal they can't refuse and a 3rd team to make it happen.

The Result of the 3 way trade: The Leafs get rid of 2 high contracts and Mitch Marner. They receive Ian Cole, Nate Schmidt and Riley Sheahan. The Golden Knights receive Mitch Marner, Connor Sheary and a expiring contract in JVR. They give away Eric Haula, Nate Schmidt, Jon Merrill and a 4th rd pick.

????? Now you're making stuff up. The reason the Leafs don't want to trade Bozak, is the Leafs need him at centre this year. Period. And what is this bit of getting rid of 2 high contracts? They are easily affordable to the Leafs this year. In your scenario, Vegas wins, especially in feel they want to trade JVR and get more assets. Pens win because they get Bozak, Haula and Merril and really only trade Sheary. Leafs lose big.

You're actually saying they need to capdump Marner? What planet are you on to think that's what they need to do?

I am on a Two Stanley Cup in a row high and looking for three. We want Bozak, what will it take?

If the Pens would offer Kris Letang for Tyler Bozak, what else would you put in the deal?

You want Bozak? Cole, 1st for Bozak, Pickard, 5th.
