Description
Chicago replaces Seabrook with Pits best shut down dman with a sign and trade. The also offload the tail end and bad years of the seabrook contract while taking a year and a half of the bad hagelin contract. Just to make cap work the teams trade Sheary for Hayden

Man, that bottom pairing would get torn apart haha But the trades are at least realistic.

If Seabrook didn't have a NMC, then there could be discussions on this but frankly ppl need to start looking at if a player has a NMC / NTC more often. It makes trading a player almost impossible (realistically) unless that player wants to be traded.

I think Seabrook wants to stay a Hawk for life. He wouldn't waive his NMC in any situation I don't think.

A year and a half of Hagelin at $4M per is way less bad than 6.5 years of Seabrook at $6.75M per, and Pittsburgh gives up Sheary too? Not a good deal for them at all

Neither of those players are cancers though. They just have bad contracts. They happen to be really good teammates actually
