Tavares would be a rental no way can the Leafs afford Tavares Matthews gets around $12 million Marner $7 million Tavares $12 million no way the Leafs would be inviting cap hell here.

my question is why would the leafs even try and acquire tavares? yeah he is an excellent player, but like they literally have no space for him.

Tavares is good, but not good enough to make Toronto move Nylander and Kapanen. The Ceci trade is way off.
