Columbus is in a playoff run, would not trade Johnson for Sclemko

Maybe not for Schlemko but Johnson requested a trade. Doubt he stays with Columbus for their playoff run.

If teams traded disgruntled players there would be 500 trades a year in the NHL. Giving in to those type of requests just give you more disgruntled players. You're saying the bankrupt Johnson is going to quit? Well he never was too smart with his money or his future potential earnings.

Not fair, palhal. Johnson was taken advantage of by his parents. Honestly, most people would never entail the idea that their parents would steal for their child.

This trade is laughable. We would rather lose Johnson for nothing.

I don’t see why either team does this. Johnson isn’t gonna get any better going to a bad team that can’t drive offense, and Columbus probably doesn’t want stuck with 2.5 years of Schlemko.

Johnson the last 2 years is basically equivalent to Alzner. If Columbus wants to consider that exchange, I'm game. I've seen enough from Alzner that I'd be happy to pass off his contract for a rental.
Anything else isn't worth the risk to me, so I'll happily pass on the opportunity to pick up Johnson.
