the price for hoffman is set high and I have trouble finding the right package for him on this current roster without sacrificing picks. Guentzel maybe, but we are paying him pennies for the next 18 months so that is almost as crucial. I love Hoffman and would be willing to deal just about any forward prospect for him, I just dont know if it would work.

As far as the others, i like getting picks for this years draft, I would just keep Reaves if possible

The 2nd in the Hoffman deal needs to be a first, plus probably add in ZAR or someone similar.

the reason I add Sherry to the trade Ottawa wants to cut salary a salary for 2 more years as top 6 for them while saving 2 million in cap now if the 2 has to be a 1st so be it but tsn is reporting he is on trading block. Because the owner said they need to cut salary. Now for reaves now oleksiak step in for a fight for him do we need weaves to Fight? Tsn also been saying Boston been looking for lhd and check on him b4 but asking price was to high what was the asking price don't know. But 2 and 3 for Cole and 4 I think is fair. So all in all sweaty and gets the trade fine. But the other 2 I think is possible.

Ottawa probably asks for Sprong if you want Hoffman. Sheary and a 2nd doesn't get it done for a bonafide top line winger on a very good contract

For weeks before turris was traded I was wanting pens to trade for him everyone question it saying he is not getting move but....... He did the reports was on tsn now they are saying Hoffman will be traded no team is going to give 2 top 6 and pick for him sorry and Ottawa gave away 1 &2 they would rather take a 1st then someone who might want a big raise when they are trying to cut money
