This is a gross overpayment for an undersized, underperforming (has only broke 20 goals once in his career), aging, on the decline, left handed shot....

For starters. Zuccs would be taking Spooners spot in the lineup. The difference between the 2 is not JFk and 2 2nds. It’s an overpay for someone who averages 17 goals a year. Hell Spooner and Zuccs have the same amount of goals this year and Spooner has played 20 less games. Secondly Boston needs a RH shot RW, LD, or upgrade 3rd line center. He is none of those. Boston does not need another undersized LH shot playing RW. He’s a good player, but not a good fit, and that is a piss poor trade in terms of value for Boston.

I'd rather keep JFK and develop him over this trade. Zuccarello isn't a need and isn't tipping the scale.

Safe to assume you're an uninformed boob..aging? Declining? Do you even KNOW the player you're speaking of? His playing style has always been pass-first, so racking up assists is a large part of his forte. Sorry they're not all scoring cheap shot-artists like Marchand.

"you're right this is a great deal", says Sweeney, "hold my beer so I can take this call"... "oops" hangs up phone

How can you talk about Marchand like that? He fell. He was tripped. And he is a much better player than Zuccarello. Get your head out of the clouds

The package is not substantial. I get that you're trying to think around the edges. Mats Zuccarello is not what the Bruins need.
