Chicago?

Created by: BlackTaurus
Team: 2017-18 New York Rangers
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 6, 2018
Published: Feb. 6, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is nothing more than me having fun with this trade and likely will not happen what so ever.

My theory is
Nash at 50% would be bringing in the 1st and Pokka.
McDonagh would be bringing in Saad.
The two 2nd round would be brining in DeBrincat.

I think Rangers say no. They need longer cost control than Saad provides. I think Chicago also says no, they're giving up too much cost control for a rental.

That and the Hawks get massively ripped.... Saad is already as good as Nash and he's younger, DeBrincat is a perennial 40+ goal scorer in the making and he's only 19, and the Hawks 1st this year will be a top 10 pick, perhaps a lottery pick if the Hawks can tank it and the Hawks haven't drafted in the top 10 since 2009. So that will be a welcome opportunity.

I don't see Bowman trading DeBrincat for anything less than a super over-payment. I would say that Bowman would consider moving a guy like Duncan Keith before he thought about moving DeBrincat or Schmaltz.... I would consider them both part of the Hawks "future core" and untouchable.

I mean when you say 3 years ago...3 years ago was the last gasp at being good. Seriously, He's on track for 5 out of 6 years being sub 40 points!!!!! He's TERRIBLE. Anyone giving a 3rd rounder is about to be HAD.
