I know CAR would definitely shoot down that deal before you even finished your pitch... They are looking for young guys to build a new corps; there's no way they would give up their first (which is probably going to be top 10) for a guy who's over 30.

do you know if the playoffs start right now car. would be in a wild spot. so adding I think they would.?

EDM can manage much more than a 4th for Letestu. He's one of the few centers available at the deadline this year; he'll draw a 2nd.

I dis agree he is worth a 2nd but agree they might get better prospect offered.

Late 2nd isn't worth much. Penguins don't have the pieces to get Mcdonagh IMO. Rangers would prob want Guentzal + a 1st and maybe a prospect Sprong?

The market is literally Plekanec, Letestu, and Ryan. Teams pay out the nose during the TDL; Plekanec will net a 1st, and the other two at least a 2nd. Consider that there's decent chatter from Oiler insiders like Bob Stauffer regarding the package of Maroon+Letestu to TBL for Cal Foote. The offer of Rowney and a 4th is equivalently nothing. You said it yourself, you have to give to get.

Don't understand this at all....trading regulars, Horni and Murray for futures, then trading futures for regulars, Grabner and McDonagh. Carolina certainly don't do that trade especially for a winger. Holden getting a 2nd?
Wanna go in the post season with that goaltending?

If that is the case I would get dad back for the 4 line and be cheaper

Still think they want a roster player a top prospect and a 1st. Grabner will probably fetch a 2nd/3rd. I don't tilhink Carolina trades their 1st for Hornqvist as they are hesitant to trade their futures

Yes I would go to postseason with this goaltending because look at this D. Now now again to people don't think Carolina will do this trade new owner they are right now in a wild card spot so they will get playoff money in tux sales and TV now domi will be resign and good chance horny will not be. He is going to want 6x6 and pens should not give him that or even 6x5 either so yes sale him. So truly the only rental is grabner and letestu and I could be OK without letestu or maybe getting dad

Wow Murray trade again. Lol

Horny for a first and then flipping that first. There is no reason to trade on of your most productive forwards for draft picks when your a cup contender.
There is no way the Pens get Mcdonagh without including a young defenseman nor should the Pens tie up 30million in there defense.
