Pittsburgh should be thinking about winning a 3rd cup instead of players feelings , nhl is a business

The NHL is a business and as a business the return on those trades is well below par. Ottawa and AZ hang up the phone

Sheahan has been playing very well in the 3rd line role so no need to move him for the underperforming youngsters in Montreal.

Adding on: Sheahan is becoming a very good third line center for us.

Hagelin and Sheahan are both huge players for this team right now. If we are giving up 5 roster players, 5 draft picks and one of our top prospects, it better be for freaking John Tavares

Idk what feelings ur talking about but Hags is the most important player to our team speed and his play in dirty areas is helping Geno go on a tear rite now and his PK play is prob best in league rite now.

The Ottawa deal I would do in a heartbeat. I don't think the Senators would though. The Montreal deal is unnecessary. Sheahan is a fine 4th line center, no reason to move him. The Pheonix deal you could get Domi for Hagelin, no reason to add the rest. Move Hagelin to clear space is and get an ok player in return.
