Nashville isn't moving Tolvanen lol. I've seen offers of Fabbro and a 1st for Nash, is that too much in one direction?

Nope. Zero chance Preds sell Tolvanen after his performance at the Olympics.

Don’t expect us to move Fabbro or Tolvanen. Expecting us to trade our 1st rounder but not sure who we’ll get back. Nash doesn’t fit our cap situation unless 50% is retained, and you take a current roster player back because we still have to sign Fisher. Just don’t see it working for Nash but I could be wrong.

Rangers will def retain 50% of Nash contract. PREDS are deep on DEF &NYR want close to NHL ready prospects. So FABRO & 2018 1st for NASH with 50% retained, is sounding about right.
No chance the PREDS trade TOVALEN for a rental.

We're not sure what Preds are willing to do. But it will take 1st + Fabro or Tolvy coming back. Nothing less. It's either that or someone like Fiala.

I wonder if we take a big contract from you or give you another young asset that it would make this work. Maybe its Nash and a 2nd (50% retained) for a big contract up within a year and tolvanen

It’s possible that could work, but not sure which big contract we’d be willing to part with. I feel like our top 6 F and top 4 D are all locked in. I personally don’t see us doing much, but we would benefit from another goal scorer. Poile hasn’t been the type to risk everything, could be different this time.
