I think a couple of your trade proposal acquisitions are not ideal 3rd line centers, or in the case of Ryan Strome and Max Domi, do not really make great centers at all. Ideally, you'd like your 3rd line center to excel at winning faceoffs and be able to play on at least one special team. I would also add that you want to think of including Tyler Bozak. The fact that he's had such great chemistry with Kessel in the past should not be overlooked either. Also, you might want to look to the Ducks as they are plentiful in centers and an addition like Antoine Vermette would surely help the Pens out down the stretch.

Would Guentzal and a 1st be something you're willing to part with for Stastny at 3.5 Mill?

The thinking i have on the wing/center types i have is for them to be able to play wing in top 6 and maybe be the "offensive 3rd line center" while being able to split duties with Sheahan
