Description
With Hornqvist locked up and Rust re-signed, the Pens have a solid corps of top 9 wingers even once Hagelin possibly departs. I believe this makes Sprong moveable for what the Pens need, an NHL ready RHD prospect. Flames seem like the perfect trading parnter, they are very thin on RW and already have 3 RHD with term on their contracts.

Trade makes a ton of sense for both sides IMO. Both get exactly what they need, and those two guys should be pretty comparable value-wise.

Great trade. I can see this trade working for both teams. Flames need right-handed wingers and Pens need to add depth on D. Nice work!

love it! hate to see Sprong go without getting consistent NHL time, but you made a great point. Wonder what Calgary fans would think. Contracts seem dead on, too.
