I think we know why you're not GM. AZ isn't giving up any asset to take on Seabrook's abysmal contract. Nuge>Arty.

Scott Darling has the worst save % among qualifying starters in front of a defense that is better than the Hawks

We saw what happened with the Hawks when they didn't have Crawford because of injury this year... (16-9-2 with and 14-26-7 without)
And you go and trade him. Quite the plan.

I have it on good authority that Crawford is done as a Chicago Blackhawk. Fell off the wagon and has been told by Wertz that he is never playing another game as a Blackhawk. I know it’s not a popular move but this is what will happen.

Arizona getting what could end up being a high 2nd round pick for a Defenseman that has been hurt all year? I don’t think they will care much about taking on that contract if it means getting some nice draft pick capital.

As for the RNH for AA trade, that was made as a way for Edmonton to save a little bit of cap space. Edmonton will be paying $31M + for 4 players (McDavid, Draisaitl, Lucic & Russell). They probably would want to clear a little bit and saving $1.5M+ while only downgrading slightly at 3rd Line avenger isn’t but atrocious for them. The third round pick is just an additional way for having Chicago take on that extra money. Sorry that I have not pleased you with my way of thinking.

I am firmly in the belief that Darling is far better than his numbers this year show. I think having him back in a dressing room he is familiar with and back with this coaching staff will bring him back up to a Regular NHL Starting goalie. Even if that doesn’t work out, he is a solid backup to Carter Hutton who has been consistently good as a backup in this league.

This is just my opinion and I appreciate your feedback.

Well the trades heavily favor the Blackhawks that's for sure.

I like the idea of bringing back Darling tho...... I wouldn't mind a deal for Darling, Kruger and the RFA rights to TvR.

IMO, Anisimov straight up for RNH is a lot closer than some may think. Anisimov would fit Edmonton like a glove and would be a perfect #3 center.. But I don't know how much RNH improves the Hawks.... Production-wise it's a wash so ..

The Hawks should really use Anisimov as trade bait for a #4 defenseman.

I agree..

I would love to have Darling back and obviously he was traded for salary cap purposes. I mean he was the ideal backup for Crawford and proved he was more than capable of being a legitimate 1B when called upon..

I think Bringing back Darling would certainly be a step in the right direction, not only that but bringing back Kruger and TvR would be 2 more steps in the right direction... Anisimov for Darling, Kruger and the rights to TvR would be an ideal trade.... I mean the cap hit would be a wash and the Hawks get back 3 players that played a role in their last championship...

What exactly does "fell off the wagon" mean?
But I'm sorry, there is no way I'm going to believe someone on here that they have inside information that the owner of the Chicago Blackhawks has told one of the best goalies in the league that he will never play for them again. That just doesn't make sense.
