Really name me a trade where i thought this rediculoisly! I get my value might be a bit off but some people especially rebuilding teams with really only one stud player seem to think he's worth absolutely obserb amounts.

Well we are one of the best young teams in the NHL so why wouldn't FA want to come. At least we realize drafting well developing talant and not overpaying for players is important.

I mean, apart from the 50 draft picks post, I don't think I've seen Sens fans posting this trade...so it'd be hard to match. However, saying that Karlsson is their only good player is fairly laughable. Stone is over a point per game player and is controllable. Hoffman has put up similar goal totals to Patches (slightly less, but is signed for 2 more years). Ceci is a top 4 RHD.

You're out there getting Brodin for a late 1st, so there's that.

Actually it was a late 1st and some prospects if i recall and tried to go off the Mcdonagh trade. Also, based it off a Wild fans trade with some minor tweaks. But everytime i see a sen fan trade karlsson its for 4-5 elite players and picks yes i exaggerated it a bit but im tired of people grouping leaf fans as all overvaluing talant.

The McDonagh trade was for 2 top prospects, a first rounder, a conditional 2nd that becomes a 1st if the Lightning win the cup in the next 2 years, and then a swap of JT Miller for Namestnikov.

Yours was a 6-7th dman, a 24 year old AHL goaltending prospect, and a late 1st for Brodin, who's on a great contract for through 2021, one year of Tyler Ennis's contract and a 2nd rounder. Those aren't comparable at all my friend.

I get that 99% of the trades on here are garbage, but there's as many or more terrible Leafs and Habs post on here as their are Karlsson trades.

Again the trade i based it off was a wild fans trade but that 23 year old goalie is looking like a solid 1b NHL goalie, and that dman was controlable. The trade that the wild fan put up was Brodin, Ellis and a 2nd for Toronto's 1st, lievo and borgman and a 2nd.so did by what that fan put up put up a worse trade. I'll agree that i didn't do alot thinking on that trade but was mine an improvement or worse based off that person opinion of what it would take to get them.
