Target Raanta, Calvert and De Haan in free agency, trade Ceci and Smith( heavily overvalued right now so we can get much better returns than their actual worth) as well as other pieces for a top 6 forward, as well as get ride of burrows. Then we might be a contender

I could see a rebuilding team like NYR or something taking Ryan. But Phily are very close to being playoff calibre and are more interested in ridding themselves of bad contracts than taking them. But the roster its close but though Chabot will be a stud but hes really only a 2nd pair right now in his development so bringing in a vet dman to play with Karlsson and a 2nd line centre then you could be ready to compete for the playoffs.

No, too many players are not ready, Formenton, Zadina, Brown! Philly can't afford to take Ryan's contract. With that team Colorado would be guaranteed a top 5 pick in 2019.
