I feel we are close on the value part, however the player you mentioned is penciled into a deal at the moment (nothing concrete yet)
Plus Hinny is signed going forward so it doesn't really give you any cap relief (well, a little it does)

Klefbom + Gryba for Johnson + Poehling. This is my last attempt at getting something done here. I see this as fair as Klefbom is a top tier defense man, who takes 20+ minutes a night and would have had 30ish points if not for an injury. Yes Klefbom wasn't as good this year, but basically all of Edmonton sucked other then McDavid and the Nuge.

I wasn't lowballing Poehling, but I'm not giving up a top defenseman without a good return. Maybe if we take a break we can hopefully work something out a few weeks from now.
