The Spezza trade is awful for EDM. Klefbom is a potential star, on a cheap contract, why would you trade him? It's Pocklington who gave up players like that, not Chiarelli.

Spezza was a healthy scratch on a non playoff team and your giving up two dman who actually play minutes, one of which is a legit young top 4..... Chiarelli only trades away elite forwards

Why are you trading Klefbom and Russel for an out of prime Spezza, and over spending on getting a 1 dimensional defenceman like shattenkirk. These trades make Edmonton worse and will continue to make them sleep in the basement of the nhl

WAIT. People actually want Spezza rn?? Love the guy but I dont think he actually has any trade value with his contract.
