Provorov worth ten times that return. Giroux more valuble than Patches and Price. This is a massive loss for Philly.

Agreed, huge Philly brain fart on this one. U’d need to take out both 1sts going to Mtl, add Galchenyuk, and retain on Price’s contract to make it interesting.

Price has negative value to almost every team in the league at that price tag. Giroux is worth tons more than Price. Mete/Patches doesn't even get you in the ballpark for Provorov either. Idk what you watch man I'm just being honest. These kind of things are just weird to see and even more curious when people justify like this

he is more valuable than Patches by a lot. And more valuable than Price easily especially at $10M+.

Giroux hit 100 points this past year, and he’s versatile. Mtl would need to overpay for a 1C, and Giroux would cost a lot. The Flyers would NOT trade Giroux AND a 1st just for 10.5Mx8 years Price who didnt even help his case this past year, and a 3rd. If anything, u’d need ur 1st. Also, Provorov and a 1st could get u wayyy more than a less proven young D-man and 1 year of Patches (Provorov alone prob could).

This isn’t overreacting. It’s called the value of the Flyers’ top players.
