I like your trade for Tanev, it looks pretty good.

I don't think the Fiala trade would pan out though.

I don't see why Nashville has to remove a 50 pt guy on entry contract to make room? Trade and reasoning makes no sense

I don't see why the leafs want Tanev... I think he is okay when he plays but he has never once played a full season. The reason why he is still on Vancouver is because the asking price is too high for a guy that sits in the stands while his team plays. Gardiner has issues in his own end and I think he should be moved but he is still a very talented 50 point Offensive Dman who teams would like to have to QB a powerplay. He still has a lot of value and can be packaged as part of something better then Tanev.

Fiala trade is a no-go. The Preds aren't "making room" for Tolvanen; the idea is to add him to what they already have.

SirCharles: You have to know that Tanev, can ONLY be traded to the Leafs. Nope, he is no value to any other team since 95% of his trades are to the Leafs. As a Leaf fan, I would rather save my assets and my cap room then spend on Tanev....there might be a lot better way to spend money especially in 2019/20.

I must admit thought, if the Leafs could trade for Tanev is this proposed deal, the Leafs probably make the trade.

Apparently, Brooks has really played well as of late. Maybe he is an NHLer in the future
