Description

I'm a Jets fan just looking for feedback about the trade (so don't focus on my line combos;)

As I see you have the left side of your D pretty solid with Sekera and Nurse long term. Your right side needs some help...Myers would be a solid 2nd pairing D behind Larsson and Petan and Dano would give you some cheap skill. Petan hasn't had the opportunity in Winnipeg but could be a steal playing beside top end talent.

I think at this point Myers has more value than Klefbom, so I'm not sure if this trade would work.
Myers was much more productive last season(36 points +9, Klefbom 21 points -12), and a right hand shot defender with size, decent feet and some offensive upside. Which is so rare.

Jets fan...take that all day every day! Enstroms replacement on the Left at a reasonable CAP hit with term. Right side is the strongest point right now and Poolman can step in on that bottom pairing. Run Morrisey-Trouba, Niku/Klefbom-Buff, Klefbom/Kulikov (if niku doesn't make the team)-Poolman and that D-Core is solid. Dano/Petan, Myers are costs the Jets can and should expend to solidify their LHD.

What am I missing here? I have Myers being a better or similar D than Klefbom. How is Kelf worth 2 prospects in this trade? (Although Dano aint really panning out)

Not that far off......prettty intriguing actually.
The Jets would likely pass on that deal because Ehlers is super close with Laine....can't afford to upset Laine before he's locked in long term

If I were Chevy....i'd counter and ask for another asset back in the deal or try to include one of our less desirable contracts and if Chiarelli said ok i'd pull the trigger.
