I’d take a flyer on Ceci.
Don't know if Melnyk wants to pay that bonus, so Sabres will probably be picking up the tab + a division rival, drop the random 4th rounder and I think that’s about right

White, C. this reverts the Lehner trade (DATM probably would not have been smart enough to draft him)
2018 1st 4th overall it will be at least one of Andrei Svechnikov, Brady Tkachuk or Filip Zadina
Cody Ceci top PK minutes on the entire team. Somehow I wonder how any one could say no to this trade. Ottawa's top prospect, top PK defenseman and the 4th over all who may be NHL ready next year.
IMO Mr. Botterill would need CPR after hearing this offer, because he could not believe he was still alive and thought he had died and gone to heaven.

Although that may be a bit of an exaggeration, it certainly points out how good this trade is for Buffalo. Ceci is Ottawa's #1 PK defenseman and only Karlsson had more ice time per game. This would allow Buffalo to try to move Dahlin to LHD with, Scandella and McCabe while Ristolainen, Ceci and Bogosian are on the Right side. If they all play up to their capabilities that is one awesome defense.

Canes wouldn't trade their best Dman Slavin for one year of EK and that big cap dump Ryan. And you want more good assets for EK? Sorry Ottawa fans are going to really disappointed when the real trade of EK is made.

I think all the trades are fair. The Carolina one must be with a Karlsson extension prenegotiated tho.
The defence needs to be fixed tho. Harpur should be a 7th Dman max not in the top 4. Sign another Dman like De Haan.
