NJD/TOR trades + Carlson

Description
I tried to only make "tweaks" as Leipold has called it. I think Neiderreiter ends up being the odd man out of any of our forwards and Dumba or Brodin could be the same for our D.

In the NJD trade the Wild gain a much needed grade A prospect in McLeod, mid-grade prospect in Bastian, and a mid 1st round pick while getting huge cap relief. I targeted right hand players as we only had one in Coyle after Kunin got hurt and Stewart was traded. NJD get a top 6 winger that can play both ends of the ice with a nice scoring touch and an offensively gifted winger in Ennis, though he can be a liability in his own end.

In the TOR trade the Wild give up a lot (though I think it's fair, let me know what you think) for Nylander who helps us get younger and faster with some great offensive skills. Leafs gain a top pairing defensemen that has improved every year and scored 50 points last season in addition to a late 1st this year.

Wild sign Carlson to fill Dumba's spot on the roster, giving us a solid top 4D. I think we'd still need a good RHD prospect along with Belpedio, so maybe that's what we'd target with our draft pick from NJD this year. I think we could also find a decent bottom 6 grinder to fill in for Greenway/Kunin when they are sent to the AHL, as we have plenty of cap to play with yet.

    you've traded three first picks for neiter. njd won't pay that much plus you've added almost 10 in cap to devils which includes cap dump Ennis. jersey could just sign Carlson which you did and keep their players and picks.

    Show me overrated, yeah he plays with Ovi and Backstrom, but put him on Edm with McD and same thing, no?

    I also think Carlson is very over-rated! He panics with the puck in the defensive zone and coughs it up too much. As a Wild fan, I would much rather keep Dumba and let him develop into a better version of Carlson.
