Lol Klefbom and Nurse are both far better than Brodie, and all these trades are terrible. Mike Hoffman will cost you more than that.

Van: I could see the Canucks accepting something like this. Maybe a 3rd and a prospect instead of a second.
Edm: You can definately get a better defenseman back for RNH.
Det: They already have enough back contracts in Dekeyser and Abdelkader so i doubt they take Russel's too.
Ott: Definately not enough for Hoffman. If you want Hoffman, you would have to start with either Nurse, Klefbom, or RNH. Something like Klefbom, Benson, and a 2019 first for Hoffman and a 3rd would be more appropriate.

Detroit ain't touching Kris Russell especially for that meager return in a draft that they already have 4 top 36 picks in.

Dekeyser isn't really a bad contract, just slightly overpaid. He's a good defensive D, doesn't provide a ton of offense tho.
