I think that is overpaid for O'reilly. I also think Mtl Can't afford to trade another Defense Prospect. I'd like to see the O'reilly deal happen, however I'd rather use Max Pacioretty as a trading value. Lekhonen is gonna be a stud, the kid is impressive. I'm also on board with the signing of Paul Stastny.

Can't see why any Buffalo GM would consider sending ROR to Montreal unless the offer was completely mind-blowing from the Habs (of course with Bergevin on the phone that's always a possibility). Why would Buffalo help a long time divisional rival that stands between them and some playoff hockey that they've missed out on for ever. They already have Boston, Tampa and Toronto to fight with for playoff spots, why would they give their rival exactly what they've needed for a decade? I can't believe ROR comes to Montreal unless the offer is completely stupid

Rushing Zadina would be a mistake. Let the 18 year old kid come up slowly.

Include Patches in that trade somehow and I think they will deal. Then go after Skinner on the 1 year rental or put an offer in for Saad to the Hawks.

This is what I’ve been saying. MTL would have to outbid everyone else by a wide margin. The price for ROR will be high to begin with due to the term he has and the cap space Buffalo has, so we’re talking just a stupid offer to get him to MTL

Montreal fans need to stop throwing lindgren out there like hes a top prospect. Lehtonen had 12 goals last year and Juulsen nice but he is not the prospect he was 2 year ago. Without a 1st round pick this is trading a dollar for loose change. No thanks

    Five stars for wanting O'Reilly
I agree with most of what has been said about this trade. I actually like Lindgren, Juulsen may be an NHL player, Lehkonen, A appears to be only a 15 goal/season forward. Not enough to pull the trigger. Maybe if MTL, CHI and TML 2nd round picks were included. I still like O'Reilly for Weber and other parts from each team.

Not a Habs fan but Lindgren does have potential to be a good goalie.
