Clear no from buffalo,

Also curious why David Perron only gets 3.75m he just had the best season of his career, and now he is gonna sign for the same salary? (sounds logical)

A ton of assists during the regular season but slowed down in the playoffs and was a healthy scratch once. He is not consistent and never has been which is why he does not command an elite salary. Also, he is likely to slow down as he is now over 30.

Is choice of Lehkonen or Hudon a sufficient upgrade over Scherbak?

Neither does it. No offense to Montreal, but the best asset they had to facilitate a ROR trade was #3, they wanted to keep it but now they don't really have any pieces to make a good deal.

I suggested something like this for buffalo, a winger prospect and a young rhd. It was mostly in response to the lindgren suggestions from habs fans. Its not a "buy it now" price, but its an offer that makes sense from the habs end. Since montreal traded 3oa, and carolina traded hanifin, i think st louis is in the best position to grab ror. My suggestion was so at least pieces made sense that were going to buffalo.

might be wise but also other people might pull the trigger on trades and be left with no one to trade with... ask bergevin about that last year.....patches almost went to la draft day and I think he will go there still probably for Jeff carter with some other pieces involved...

i AGREE THEY SHOULD KEEP HIM AND TRY TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS .. IF THE CANADIENS LET THE TEAM SIGN PATCHES WHICH IS WHAT THEY TRIED TO DO WITH LA THEN THEY WILL GET MORE FOR HIM.. GET AN OLDER CARTER BACK WHILE YOU WAIT FOR OUR YOUNG CENTERS AND MUZZIN TOO WHILE GIVING THEM jUULSON OR SCHREBREK AND ANOTHER PLAYER... SINCE CARTER IS 33 NOW HIS COST ISNT AS HIGH AND WE ONLY NEED HIM FOR 2 MORE YEARS
