I think play wise Nylander has more value but I like this because Manson is locked in at 4.1 for another 4. Good trade overall

Nice one. I hate trading Nylander but this one is great. Silfverberg is the exact type of forward who would shine in Leafs' system and Manson is hell of a D-man. Nylander would your no1 forward for sure and Zaitsev would be really solid trust me. Nice one!

I think that u should have put Horton LTIR. Would've gave u more cap space fro a better fourth line or second line left winger. Other than that it was pretty good.

I'm not an expert, but I think the idea is by NOT putting Horton on LTIR they save some cap space next year due to something weird with bonuses?

I don't see that trade happening. As much as Manson would be a great addition in a crucially needed position, this is essentially Nylander+ for Manson. Close to a Larsson-Hall type of trade.

I'm a strong "don't trade Nylander-Marner-Kapanen-Johnsson" believer, but this one has me changing my mind. Seeing Manson play 82 times a year (I live in LA), I know how right he is for the Maple Leafs. This would be a great trade, and I wouldn't mind if you sweetened it with a first-round pick, because it leaves you the cap room to sign everyone NEXT year. Bravo!

LTIR doesn't do anything except GIVE u cap space for this season. It won't do anything to you for next season , he'll just be back on your roster next year and then u can put him on LTIR again.
