Price is high on Petro. It’s Point coming back. It seems a lopsided for a Norris trophy finalist.not gonna take Girardi in that deal. But then again TBL wouldn’t move point. And they wouldn’t do it. Because of Cap Hell that would come right after.

Petro is a top 7 defenseman in the league. Point MIGHT be a top 20 center. Also, Foote isn't even in the same league as Thomas. Thomas is just so much better than him.

If you replace Girardi with Coburn, replace Point with Cirelli, and add in Dotchin, Tampa probably says yes. That's the only way it works with the salary cap and doesn't create a massive hole in Tampa's depth, so you're not going to get anything more from Yzerman (other than maybe draft picks, but the best Tampa has to give is a low first-rounder).

If the Blues say yes to that, I don't think their GM will be employed for very much longer.
