Description

Need to give up something to get something. Edm gives up some good young D prospects but get a perennial 30 goal scorer, A+ goalie prospect to give them future between pipes, serviceable NHL D-men to win the cup this year as bottom 5-7 on depth + some D prospects with some upside (although not guaranteed). MTL take a gamble and have to overpay for Nurse (agreed upon before trade)

Risky trade. Usually, I say that quality is much more important than quantity. However, despite the fact that there are 9 assets going to EDM, there are also quality going in there.

Hard to say yes, but it's also hard to say no.

so lopsided in Habs favor. Max, Byron a 1st and pile of crap for RNH, Nurse, Benning and 3 good picks. Sure. I mean it is Chiarelli so there’s a chance i guess. Any other GM would laugh and hang up.
