Not good enough for what? This team was the second best team in the league, is a young and still learning team and lost only Stastny. They have some players that could regress but I see more players that will likely get better. Elhers, Laine and others are another year in and their top guys in Schiefele and Wheeler are still going to be great.

People chirping the Jets are dreaming. I'm not even a fan of the team, I just see their lineup and don't see much of a fall off. I'd put money on them being better than last year before saying they'll be worse.

I fully expect the jets to be worse this year as of TODAY for the following reasons Morrissey isn't signed yet no replacement for Armia . Which Helly shows up this year? Can Ros play C. Can Maurice coach a team to back to back playoff seasons something he has only done once in 20 years of coaching

I think the biggest issue here is how you've ordered the lines, otherwise they look solid

the order of the lines don't matter as much as who plays with who and the only line that seems set is the TLC line

Not sure I follow your train of thought when designing this post then, Connor, Scheifele Wheeler played together almost all of last year and combined for over 150 even strength points, Little played between laine and ehlers and both had career years, really just move the 1st line here to the 4th line and bump every line up and you've got an equivalent to their lineups from last year accounting for the loss of stastny and armia. The same lineup that got them 3 points behind the presidents trophy last year only with an additional year of regular season and 3 rounds of playoff experience... Having a hard time understanding what you feel would be 'good enough.' 6 proven elite players and several solid complimentary pieces are not enough?

your to hooked up in defining lines the TLC line will probably be 3rd line the shut down line but they will play together most of the season the other lines are not so set in stone while CSW looks to stay intact the other 2 lines are questionable

What is this? You want us to acquire Crosby and Karlsson. Still say we’re not good enough

1) Morrissey will sign soon enough, missing the start of training camp isn't good but its not the end of the world (Pastrnak)
2) Honestly who gives a **** about Armia, he's a depth forward and the Jets have some very good players ready to make the jump to replace him.
3) Helly has impressed in 2 of his 3 seasons and built a reputation as a tireless workhorse in the off season.
4) Look at their scoring depth!!!!!!! They are almost as deep as TO and Tampa. They could use and likely will pick up a centre at the deadline but its not going to make them a bad team.

Winnipeg is going to contend for the cup this year.

The western conference has 2 real powerhouses Nashville and Winnipeg. Vegas is very good but literally everything went perfect last season. Can that happen twice in a row? Maybe but who knows.

St Louis, Minnesota, Annahiem, LA, etc are good teams but they are a big step below the Jets and Nashville which will once again battle for the Presidents trophy.

Honestly Anyone can win the pacific this season, only the Canucks would surprise me if they won the division. In the Central, teams could surprise but its doubtful. I think St Louis is given some huge benefit of the doubt, they weren't good enough last year but made some major additions. My concern though is their team speed and their collective age. I see them having a very small window at best.

There you go again telling me he's going to sign my comments are as of today. I have made all my predictions as of the day I posted I still think the Jets will be anywhere from 3-5 in the division. My predictions in August was Nash, Col, St.L Min ,Wpg, Dal. Chi and I don't see any reason to change that as of now. When we get closer to meaningful games my opinion will change I'm sure of that but as of TODAY this is how I see it. I wouldn't be betting on Wpg to win the Central Division or the Western Conference as it sounds like most of the people would

They’ll be top 3 in the West mark my words. Losing Stastny doesn’t Destroy the team
Hey, but you were the guys saying Laine is having a sophomore slump at the beginning of the season and the defence isn’t ready to contend. Both which were overturned

Not me I was high on the defense last year and have always said that this year 1 or 2 have to be moved which hasn't happened yet. Yes I thought Laine would regress a bit but I had him in the 30-35 goal range They better be top 3 because 5 teams coming out of the Pacific Conference it's not going to mater any way now SJ is the leading contender now followed by Col and Nas guess we'll see soon
