The jets say no big time. Trouba (a top paring d-man on one of the best teams in the leaugue) and Connor (rookie 30 goal scorer) for nuge and spare parts. No thanks. we don't even want nuge for Trouba straight up.

Trouba is probably the most expandable dman, I don’t see him as a jet ader this season

Way too much for RNH. Would love to get him to slot between Ehlers and Laine but not giving up that much, especially Connor. He’s not going anywhere. Maybe Myers(signed) + one of Petan/Dano/Lemieux max would get it done.

Value aside, why would you finally acquire a top pairing RHD, just to flip him for a winger?

In terms of value, Connor and Trouba is definitely worth more than Nuge and some spare parts.

IF the Oilers got Trouba, the 2nd trade is a big time underpayment for Trouba. The only pieces with value in the trade are Mantha and Trouba, in which Trouba is worth way more
