If Nashville were willing to exchange Ekholm for Trouba, why would they need us?

The only way this makes sense is if we send Nashville a forward they want and Nashville sends Winnipeg a (different) forward they want.

Is this a joke or what? Nashville and Winnipeg would just do Ekholm for Trouba. Winnipeg doesn't need Nylander don't see this deal happening any ways. This would be a draft deal at the very least. And since Trouba wont be under contract. He can refuse to even go to the Leafs.
