Because Shea Weber is going to make the All-Star Game, which is in January, when he’s not expected to be back until December at the earliest.

He is expected to play in 2018, so if he is healthy I don't see any reason why wouldn't he.

Ok sure, but how can you justify putting Weber in the game over a player who has worked hard and produced throughout the first half. That’d be a smack in the face to the guys who deserve it
