Description

Matthews has an insane trade value currently but lets be honest, he's as fragile as glass so long term he does not fit as our #1C. Dubas went last offseason and signed our #1 C which is Tavares. We need a solid cheaper 2nd line center and a proven depth center.

Nylander isn't signing with the leafs again so lets just trade him for a solid dman and a prospect

Zach Hyman is overpaid and Charlie McAvoy is a solid top 4 dman and we have a first rounder that can be sent also

Marleau contract is absolutely awful so trade him for a cheaper 1st line LW and a few picks

McAvoy for a late 1st and a scrub is hilarious. I like your description about that trade because you called Hyman overpaid and McAvoy a solid top 4 dman, so why would Boston accept that? And you description about Montreal too. You said Marleaus contract is horrible, so why would Montreal want that contract and they give picks? Leafs fans stupidity strikes again

This is a great plan. I hope they do something like this. Matthews isn't living up to the hype as much as I hoped being a long-term Leaf fan. Bo Horvat has a much higher ceiling.

This guy mentions how insane Matthews trade value is and then gets Bo Horvat and a 1st. A 2nd line centre and a 1st rounder for a generational franchise centre is a joke.

Bo Horvat has much better junior stats, and we get Jay Beagle also who has been an excellent bottom 6 player, along with two draft picks. Very good trade.

How can the leafs sign Marner and Matthews AND Nylander with 10Mil in cap. They need to build an ACTUAL team, not just load up with 2 elite centers and 2 elite wingers with no defence. They need to unload some of their top talent for a more balanced team. Get with the program.....
